Residential driver (click for job description)

At O-Town Compost we want to provide a healthy work environment for our employees to thrive. We strive for operational excellence and amazing customer service as the composting movement grows in Central Florida. The perfect candidate will have at least a year of delivery driving experience.

Starting pay is $17 per hour. Full-time or Part-time. Full-time drivers (32+ hours per week) are eligible for 401k with 3% match, free YMCA membership, and a monthly healthcare stipend of $800. Also, including sick days and PTO.

What’s it like as a OTC driver? Read what Christy, O-Town Compost’s first driver, has to say about it;

“Being a driver for O-Town Compost allows me to work independently and hands on while contributing to the movement for grassroots environmental solutions, which appeals to my strengths and values. The hours can be long with lengthy routes, so you need to have the right attitude and ability to operate a large vehicle in city traffic for many hours. You put in a lot of steps, you lift a lot of weight throughout the day, you sweat in the sun, and you make decisions to solve logistical problems as they arise. At the same time, you have the freedom to listen to music or podcasts or reflect on life, and you can strategize to complete the routes most efficiently.”
